Massimiliano La Pegna has acquired the rights on the story written by the budding young Italian swimming champion, Manuel Bortuzzo about the aggression he had been mistakenly put through, which nearly cost him his life and condemned him to a wheelchair.
Manuel recounts his suffering and anger, but above all his ardent desire to rise and win again.
Massimiliano La Pegna declared: “I say it’s a duty to tell this story and put forward a message to a country that must rise again.”
